Explore Hidden Worlds
Introduce your students to the worms, centipedes, sow bugs, ants, slugs, beetles, and other decomposers that live in rotting logs and in the soil. Each time your students return, we will record what we find and compare how the populations have changed over the seasons.

Where Are All the Animals?
The prairie and woodland habitats at the Center support a wide range of animals. Your students will conduct investigations looking for sightings and signs of animals. Compare your records from each visit as you continue your investigations in the classroom.
