Field Studies for K–8 classrooms
Area classroom educators are invited to partner with Center staff and volunteers to implement student ecological field studies at the Center that support local, state and national educational objectives.
School Partnerships
Schools and school districts may partner with the Center to develop multi-grade level field study plans tailored to their needs and goals.
Ecological Restoration Corps
Ecological Restoration Corps (ERC) is a summer service-learning program for high school students.
Teacher Professional Development
Litzsinger Road Ecology Center and the Missouri Botanical Garden offer summer professional development opportunities at the site.
Summer Youth Programs
The Litzsinger Road Ecology Center offers several youth programs on-site during the summer.
Grants are available to help teachers develop outdoor learning areas at their school and promote stewardship in their students.
Litzsinger Road Ecology Center is not open to the general public. You must have an appointment to visit the site.
