Leslie Memula—School Partnership Coordinator

Leslie joined the LREC staff in June 2008. As a School Partnership Coordinator, she works closely with teachers in developing field experiences for students and leading field studies at LREC. Prior to joining LREC, Leslie worked in the classroom as a middle school science teacher.

She received her B.A. in Biology from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa and her M.A. in Education from Fontbonne University in St. Louis. Leslie is excited to be a part of place-based education at LREC and looks forward to helping students learn more about their natural world. She loves animals and has a keen interest in reptiles and amphibians.
