Jennifer Brown—Naturalist

Jennifer started work with LREC as a Restoration Ecology Intern in the spring of 2004 and was hired on as full-time staff at the start of 2005. As the Naturalist for the Center, Jennifer works in both areas of education and restoration ecology. Her particular area of focus involves monitoring and research, coordinating restoration efforts, and developing educational opportunities centered around Deer Creek, an urban stream that runs through the property.

Jennifer received her B.S. in Natural Resource Management and Range Ecology from Colorado State University, Ft. Collins, Colorado and has worked for organizations such as The Nature Conservancy and Boulder County Parks & Open Space. Jennifer recently moved to St. Louis from Colorado with her husband and dog and enjoys spending time in the outdoors adventuring with them!
